We invite you to apply for the Power of 10 Personal and Professional Development Program! It is an initiative designed for recent graduates (within the last seven years)* to provide learning experiences that will enrich the individual and benefit the individual’s practice, community, and profession.

Power of 10 Activities Timeline for 2026-2027

Please note, once the class is selected and has its first meeting, additional in-person and virtual or small group regional events may be planned according to class preferences.

> Application Deadline: November 30, 2025

> Notification of incoming class members: No later than January 5, 2026

> Program kickoff in conjunction with MVMA Winter Meeting: Thursday, January 22, 2026 – Best Western Plus GranTree Inn, Bozeman.

• Personal Effectiveness; Communications Insights Discovery Personality Training

> Seminar in conjunction with MVMA Summer Meeting: June 25-27, 2026 – Delta Colonial Inn- Helena. Specific details to be determined.

> Concluding Seminar/Recognition Ceremony in conjunction with MVMA Winter Meeting: January 28-30, 2027 – Bozeman. Specific details to be determined.

> Legislative & Advocacy Event in conjunction with Montana Legislative Session: Early 2027 - Helena.

Application Process

To derive the greatest benefit from the program, participants are expected to attend all Power of 10 activities. Participants are encouraged to secure their practice owners’ commitment to support involvement, as it means they will likely miss a few days of work for these important sessions. MVMA is happy to assist with employer communication if necessary.

Applicants must be current MVMA members in good standing.

Complete the application form below and submit it by November 30, 2025. You will be advised of selection outcomes by January 5, 2026. 

*This program is intended for veterinarians who graduated within the past seven years; other candidates may be considered on a case-by-case basis. Enrollment is limited to approximately 10 MVMA members per year, but MVMA will consider all qualified applicants if space allows.
